Aaron Treinish (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the ChampDex mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
- Team Data: Pokémon teams, movesets, notes, and configurations you create within the App are stored locally on your device and, if you are a Pro subscriber with iCloud Sync enabled, in your personal iCloud account.
- Purchase Information: When you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information directly. Purchase status is managed through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider.
- Anonymous Usage Data: RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase and subscription data to manage your entitlements. This does not include personally identifiable information.
- Device Information: Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated analytics through App Store Connect, such as device type and iOS version. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personal contact information.
- We do not require you to create an account to use the App.
- We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- We do not collect location data.
- We do not sell, share, or trade any user data with third parties.

- To sync your team data across your devices via iCloud (Pro subscribers only)
- To manage your subscription status via RevenueCat
- To deliver updated Pokémon game data from our servers
Data Storage
- Local Data: Your teams, favorites, and preferences are stored on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework.
- iCloud Sync: If you are a Pro subscriber, your team data is synced through Apple’s CloudKit service. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is subject to Apple’s iCloud privacy policy.
- Game Data: Pokémon data (stats, moves, abilities, items) is downloaded from our Firebase Storage servers and cached locally on your device for offline access. This data does not contain any personal information.

Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on our website. Changes are effective when they are posted.
Your Rights
Since we do not collect personal data, there is generally no personal data to access, modify, or delete. Your locally stored team data can be deleted by removing the App from your device. iCloud data can be managed through your device’s iCloud settings.
